Getting a Game Over in video games isn't beneficial to most gamers. But to some, it is something special that helps them to learn and play more. But what makes it sometimes special when triggering this embarrassing moment that every gamer has to face?
The Game Over event occurs if a player fails to meet the requirements of the game's objectives, such as getting the hero killed at the middle of the mission, or something like that. Did you know that getting this event will sometimes give you a special achievement?

Take a look at the example of Capcom's HD remastered version of Resident Evil for PS3/PS4. If you get a Game Over by letting your character get killed by zombies, you will instantly get your corresponding trophy or achievement tied to that game. That means you won't be able to get all of the trophies unless you get a Game Over once per play.

Remember that some games require you to get a Game Over in order to complete all of the achievements or trophies. What if sometime in the future that some RPG or any game that you are playing right now require you to trigger that embarrassing event in order for you to complete the achievements? Getting a Game Over is a part of an achievement, in some games.

Remember that triggering this is a part of gaming, so be used to it. Maybe a trophy or achievement is around waiting for you, perhaps.
